School Dinners
We look forward to lunchtime at West Felton CofE Primary School: a time to eat, relax and spend time with friends.
Our children have three options for dinner:
1.Order a hot school meal from our school lunch supplier, The Corbet School (Aspen’s Catering)
The menus run on a 3 week rota (see below) with all days providing the option of a hot pasta choice too. All menus are designed to ensure government guidelines on primary school meals are adhered to. Hot meals are £2.75 per day.
Children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are in receipt of the Government funding, providing them with a free school dinner each day. Vegetarian meals are available and other dietary requirements and allergies can be catered for, please speak to the school office staff if you have any queries.
2. Order a ‘pick and mix packed lunch’ from our school lunch supplier, The Corbet School (Aspen’s Catering).
These contain a sandwich or roll with a choice of fillings, healthy snack, home bake dessert and a piece of fruit. All of our children are provided with water but we currently recommend that every child brings a water bottle into school with them. These are £2.75 per day.
3. Bring a packed lunch from home
We recommend healthy lunch boxes, with a balanced contents suited to your child’s needs. We have children with severe nut allergies at school and request that nuts are not included in packed lunches or snacks. Suggestions and ideas for packed lunches can be found here:

Ordering & Payment

School meals must be ordered in advance by 9am Friday of the week prior, in the Parent App. Meals cannot be ordered on the day.

Meals are to be paid during the ordering process. You cannot order dinners without sufficient credit.
