Due to our restricted space, pupils eat in the Pine Room, Sycamore Class, Willow Class and Beech Class. From 12:30 – 1:00 the children enjoy our outdoor spaces – weather permitting. During this time, teachers are based in their classrooms working with a small group on Guided Reading where high-quality texts are read together. Our Teaching Assistants are deployed throughout the school with small groups of children working on specific, tailor-made intervention strategies including: handwriting, Cool Kids (a programme developed on Occupational Therapists), Star Spell, Nessy (a dyslexia friendly spelling programme) Talk Talk, Social Skills and Maths Boost. |
