We’re all very fond of Maths here at West Felton so we decided to celebrate our love of the subject through a logic and problem solving Maths Focus Morning.
Each teacher devised an activity, ranging from tangrams to stick problems, code-cracking to transporting animals, amazing mazes to pentigles.
A team of children from each of our sister schools (St. Andrews, Nesscliffe, Weston Lullingfields and Kinnerley) joined us and it was lovely to see the children interacting so well.
The morning provided an opportunity to explore Maths in a wider context, in a fun and challenging manner and beyond the boundaries of the National Curriculum. It was a thoroughly enjoyable morning and one we hope to build-on and repeat.
